Staffa and Canalone
Staffa is a public beach north of Otranto, named after its unique U-shape, similar to a horseshoe.
You can access the water by crossing through sandy beaches and rocks. During the weekend, the beach is frequented by locals. However, it is normally a quiet beach that remains untouched by mainstream tourism.
Canalone is an indentation in the coast just north of Staffa. You can access it by sea or by climbing several large rock formations. The water is roughly 5 meters deep.
